The experience of western states has proven the efficiency of introducing railway public transport systems with LRV vehicles, fact which led to the improvement of life quality for the inhabitants from the urban environment, as well as from the rural one. The reference examples are followed by a case study concerning a concept project made in the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design, Iasi.
