Sumario:Turkish has an important place among the world's languages. Not only a language spoken by a particular ethnic is a certain geographical area but also a language is spoken by the different nations in the different continents. For this reason, it has an important position in teaching Turkish to foreigners. This article deals with some problems encountered in Teaching Turkish to foreigners in our country. Today Turkish is spoken in a very large area stretching from Siberia to the Adriatic Coasts, and its importance is growing day by day both in our country and in the world. Alot of people are learning Turkish for different aims and many institutions are trying to teach Turkish using their own styles. We do not aim to disapprove these institutions by criticising them, but we try to help them as much as we can by determining the mostly encountered problems while teaching our language. One more aim of the books and methods prepared for teaching Turkish to foreigners should be to improve the four basic skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing) of language at the same time. However, we know that some skills are neglected. The aim of study to underline such problems and we are trying to aket he subject of “Teaching Turkish to Foreigners” a more effective and productive subject. Thus, an important place among the world's languages in teaching Turkish to foreigners. A language must be taught with standard rules and rich methods to be a world language. Turkish structure, for its teaching to foreign, is available to these rules and methods.
