This descriptive study was carried out in children and their mothers between the ages of 5 and 6 in Karaman. The population of the study consisted of 210 children at two private nursery school. The sample size was calculated with G * Power 3.1.5 program with 85% power, considering the known score (3,47 ± 0,58), with a significance level of 0.05, with a 10% difference. The sample size was set at 186. Data were collected using a questionnaire form developed by the researchers, the Separation Anxiety Assessment Scale-Parent Form (SAAS-P), the Close Relatives Experience Inventory (WBS) and the Parental Role Related Self-perception Scale (ERKA). Data collection tools were provided to the annelies and they were provided to fill. The obtained data were evaluated using descriptive statistics, t test in independent groups, ANOVA, Tukey and Pearson Correlation Analysis. While 54.8% of the annelles had secure attachment, 26.9% were obsessed, 12.4% fearful and 5.9% were indifferent bond. Attachment styles were affected by the child's demographic characteristics and the mother's anxiety level (SAAS-P, Fear and Abandonment Fear Lower Dimension) while the mother's self-perception was not affected. Mothers who showed secure attachment had lower fear of abandonment than children of mothers who showed children (14.02 ± 5.02) and fearful attachment (19.96 ± 5.66). As a result; It was concluded that mothers with children aged 60-72 months mostly had a safe attachment style.
