Sumario:Abstract The aim of this study is to reveal the opinions of teachers about the audit of the Turkish course and to develop suggestions for effective supervision of the course. The research is a qualitative research design and is a case study. The study group consisted of 21 Turkish teachers working in secondary schools in Üsküdar district of Istanbul province in the 2018-2019 academic year and providing voluntary participation. A semi-structured interview form was developed by the researcher to collect data. Content analysis technique was used to analyze the data. The characteristics of the participants were described descriptively. The Turkish teachers think that the short time period of the general evaluation process is a negative factor. They stated that such an audit could not go beyond auditing documents and that the teacher's performance was not evaluated. They believe that school administrators are inadequate to carry out the supervision. They emphasized that the auditors should be experts in the Turkish field. However, during the audit, they stated that they could not get guidance from the school administrators who carried out the audit. After the audit, they stated that the school administrators did not give feedback about the audit. They also proposed that these should be done. They also emphasized the need for the appointment of education inspectors outside the school administrator for audit. They suggested that the education inspectors who will perform this task should be internalized ethical values and well-educated people in the field of audit with strong human values and communication competence. They stated that it is important that the education inspectors to carry out the audit have graduate education and added that they should know a foreign language as a suggestion.
