| Sumario: | This work is the result of a teaching proposal that aims to combine mathematics and literature whose purpose is a more meaningful learning. As a result, it was considered a reading activity that sought to work chessboard logical-mathematical concepts as cartesian plane, coordinates, perpendicularity, diagonality, algebraic notation, symmetry, tactics and strategy in the context of Alice Through the Looking Glass’ work written in 1871 by Lewis Carroll. We can see the enrichment of the student's mathematical repertoire and either situations conducive to the debate of other demands that history arouses in the contact with literature. |
