Sumario:The five stages of professional diagnostics are presented: professiographics, professional orientation, professional psycho-physiological selection, professional adaptation, certification. The content of each of the stages of a professional diagnostics is specified and its systemic nature is shown. The role of professional diagnostics is substantiated as a major factor of increase of efficiency of the organization, as well as a tool for solving a variety of administrative tasks. The data of foreign studies on the economic losses from occupational stress are given.
