| Sumario: | Abstract: Ethiopia is an agrarian country where agriculture contributes about 40% to the gross domestic product (GDP), employs more than 80% of the labor force, accounts for about 90% of the foreign exchange earnings, and provides livelihood to over 90% of the population. The country’s future development is believed to continue being heavily dependent on the efficient and effective mobilization and utilization of agricultural resources which are scarce in availability and have alternative use. Agricultural productivity the source of country GDP also regarded as a key component of economic development strategies in terms of improving productivity and livelihoods. Nevertheless, there is a dearth of empirical evidence on the importance of the Farmers’ Training Centers (FTCs) in particular. In this article, the importance of FTC training in Ethiopia. The result indicates that FTC has significant importance to improve productivity as well as to improve income of farmers’ household.
