Hürriyet, Uhuvvet, Adalet and Musavvat, who were called shortly “Izmir’s quadruplets” and was believed that they symbolized the abundance of Aegean, received a great deal of attention from the people of Izmir in 1950s and left a mark in social life. Izmir’s quadruplets became the symbol of an era. Both because of their names which were given thereby inspiring from French Revolution and were emphasizing the government change that happened in the same year and because of people’s struggle for their survival, care, and education.
