Sumario: | Important aspects of QED-corrections to hadronic decays are reviewed with emphasis on conceptual points such as infrared divergences and structure dependence. These matter are illustrated for the <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><msup><mi>e</mi><mo>−</mo></msup><mo>→</mo><mi>h</mi><mi>a</mi><mi>d</mi><mi>r</mi><mi>o</mi><mi>n</mi><mi>s</mi></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula>, the leptonic decay <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><msup><mi>π</mi><mo>+</mo></msup><mo>→</mo><msup><mo>ℓ</mo><mo>+</mo></msup><mover accent="true"><mi>ν</mi><mo>¯</mo></mover></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula> and the semileptonic decay <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mi>B</mi><mo>→</mo><mi>π</mi><msup><mo>ℓ</mo><mo>+</mo></msup><mover accent="true"><mi>ν</mi><mo>¯</mo></mover></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula>. Aspects of structure dependence include the (non)-cancellation of hard-collinear logs (e.g., <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mo form="prefix">ln</mo><msub><mi>m</mi><mo>ℓ</mo></msub></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula> and <inline-formula><math xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><semantics><mrow><mo form="prefix">ln</mo><msub><mi>m</mi><mi>π</mi></msub></mrow></semantics></math></inline-formula>) of charged final states. |
