Sumario:Periodical publications have an important place in contemporary Turkish literature. In particular, the magazine presents important data in terms of literature history. One of the most important examples is Journal of Servet-i Fünûn. The journal, which leads the birth of the society such as Servet-i Fünun and Fecr-i Âti, is also the starting point of the Yedi Meşale Group. Seven determined young people who thought that literature was deadlocked in 1928 first expressed their feelings in Servet-i Fünun and then published a joint book called “Meşale” The members of Yedi Meşaleciler continued their literary activities with their eight-issue journal “Meşale”, which lasted from 1 July 1928 to 15 October 1928. Although the publication was ended due to the alphabet change and the journal was closed, they continued to write in the Varlik magazine created by Yaşar Nabi, a member of the community. On July 15, 1933, the first edition of the magazine published many articles and poems of the Yedi Meşale Group. In this study, the activities of the members of the Yedi Meşale Group in Varlık will be emphasized and information about their writing and poetry will be given.
