Sumario: | In this article, history, literature and psychiatric knowledge are articulated, pointing to gaps and homogeneities that exist in the treatment of madness in Brazilian society. It makes use of relevant concepts in cultural history, like fiction, sensitivity and representation, allowing, with their intersection, to reshape and create stories and other possible interpretations to bear on social practices and their mental suffering. This text is a tribute to my dear and unforgettable counselor, historian Sandra Jatahy Pesavento. |
