Sumario:Waste is a major problem in Central Java Province, especially in urban areas. The development of green infrastructure in waste management is the best solution to overcome this waste problem. This paper discusses whether environmental waste management has been adopted in strategic environmental assessment. By using qualitative descriptive analysis, the research was carried out through literature review and content analysis of strategic environmental assessment reports that have been published in Central Java Province. The result show that most strategic environmental assessments have recommended green infrastructure in waste management. However, it needs to be investigated further concerning its implementation. Green infrastructure in waste management must be included in spatial planning policy which integrated with strategic environmental assessment.
