Sumario: | Abdullah Efendi from Bosnia explained one of the couplets of Mesnevi of Rumi at the end of his work “Tercüme-yi Makâsıd-ı Envâr-ı Gaybiyye”, and was known as “Şarih-i Füsûs” because of explaining the sufistic work of Ibnu’l-Arabi called “Füsûsu’l-Hikem”. Abdullah Efendi firstly emphasized the name “Allah” based on the word “el-ma’nâ huvallâh” in the couplet ““Guft el-ma’nâ huvallâh şeyh-i dîn / Bahr-i ma’nîhâ-yı Rabbu’l-‘âlemîn” in the first volume of the Mesnevi. In this respect, the name “Allah” is a comprehensive name that includes the meanings of all the other beautiful names of Allah; and is unique in that it indicates to the Entity of Allah.
