We posit that the way this temporal coincidence is conceived may explain the temporal and aspectual differences between the Perfect in languages such as Spanish, Portuguese and English.Susana AzpiazuUniversitat Autònoma de Barcelonaarticlecompound perfectsimultaneityincreased presentperfect time spanSpanishEnglishPhilology.
