| Résumé: | The current article presents the results of the research “Women’s involvement in the construction of political appointments.This study was developed within the Social Work graduate Program in the Federal University Of Pará. The main idea of this article is to contribute with knowledge production about the advances and back outs considering the gender inclusion in government’s plans, in local administration, in comtemporary society changes context and their particular expressions in the Brazilian city of Belém. In terms of research methodology there were interviewed women of feminist movements, the mayor and municipal secretaries in the years of 1998 and 2006. |
