Résumé:Text modification term is used for fulfilling relationship between the source text and the target text achieved by a series of linguistic changes. Especially lexical, syntactic and semantic elements in the source text believed that complicates comprehending of the target reader audience are transformed into texts that are more readable and comprehensible by various linguistic operations. In the broadest sense when you look through the literature review on the subject can be seen that there is a wide variety of linguistic operations and a source text can be changed to different audiences for different purposes. In the modification process, a source text can be changed into a target text by adding lexical and/or syntactic elements, by dropping various linguistic elements in the mentioned linguistic levels, by replacing linguistic structures in the source text with synonyms or similar forms that are appropriate for qualifications and expectations of the target text readers. The term text modification preferred for fulfilling linguistic processes can occur between the source text and the target text is used in the article as distinct and in an extended manner from related literature. In the article, determinations about linguistic processes of text modification and associated with linguistic operations can be done in the lexical and syntactic levels showing also semantic modification qualities will be presented with contributions to existing in the related literature formed independently.
