Sumario:Between 2004 and 2005, Stalker / Osservatorio Nomade developed the Immaginare Corviale project. His goal was to transform the stigmatized image of Corviale: a modern building almost a kilometer long located on the outskirts of Rome. Immaginare Corviale's operations — away from construction and remodeling — were artistic, academic, and communication in nature. Using the concepts of curtain and screen defined by W. J. T. Mitchell, I propose that the project acts as a curtain by projecting a new image of the building and its inhabitants; and as a screen, connecting different realities and acting as a means of communication.
