Sumario:Changes of post‑Soviet identities in Russia Having introduced the term „identifying method”, the author deals with changes of social and political identities in post‑Soviet Russia. Referring to cognitive model, comprising horizontal and vertical, as well as domestic and external components of national identity the paper analyzes the ways of perceiving the term „post‑Soviet identity”. Two parts are discerned in the sphere of joining national identity: modified axiological core and protective „covering”.
