Retaining departmental structures with due regard to managerial innovation serves as a basis for renewed organizational structure of the Russian Plekhanov University of Economics. The authors consider the Education and Research Center as a foundation for the development of partner cooperation among divisions in teaching and research process. It was shown that the Education and Research Center is based on integration of profile departments sharing the common subject field of management. Concentration of mainly profile departments within the frames of the Education and Research Center aims at restoration of academic and methodological coordination of their work and more precise systematization of profile subjects as a foundation for personnel training.Mikhail N.
