| Résumé: | Utiel-Requena is a traditional wine-growing area in the province of Valencia (Spain), which has undergone a major restructuring of production, the arrival of immigrant workers and their family rooting. This article addresses this settlement and the changes it has generated in these municipalities. Our analysis of different spheres of local life, such as work, public spaces and services, coexistence and symbolic representations, shows the constitution of an ethnicized social order that consolidates the subordinate position of immigrants and their descendants. |
