Sumario:This is a study of the representation of the dwelling space in fantastic narratives of Brazilian literature.  We advocate that the elaboration of such spatialities is what configures to a large extent the fantastic setting of the fictional plot. In this paper some of Clarice Lispector’s and Murilo Rubião’s fantastic narratives are counterpointed to narratives by Walpole, Poe, Kafka, Saramago and Cortázar. To do so, we rely on the theoretical bases of spatialities as designed by Foucault, Deleuze, Guattari, and Bachelard.
