To review available literature on the clinical features and characteristic presentation of this disease. Methods: Case report with literature review. Results: We report the case of a 54 years old female patient presenting with a severe vertigo without any other particular oto-neurological signs. The initial presentation simulated central vertigo, but the VHIT showed a left posterior canal deficit and the cVEMP was in favor of saccular involvement. All these elements would suggest an inferior vestibular neuritis. Conclusion: Inferior vestibular neuritis is a diagnosis to be evoked in front of an atypical vertigo and to be confirmed by the VHIT and the VEMPs.Oussama AmraouiNoureddine MahiouSophia NitassiAbdelilah OujilalLeila EssakalliElsevierarticleInferior vestibular neuritisVHITVEMPsOtorhinolaryngologyRF1-547ENOtolaryngology Case Reports, Vol 21, Iss , Pp 100375- (2021)
