Summary:The article analyzes the results of experimental research of influence of mother's education on the development of higher mentalfunctions of children of preschool age. We used methods of neuropsychological examination, developed by A.R. Luria. Our study included 180 children of 6-7 years: 84 children are raised by the mothers with higher education, 65 - by mothers with professional education and 31 - by mothers with secondary education. The main conclusion of the study is that mother's education has a significant impact on the status of all higher mental functions except visual-spatial functions.
