Sumario: | İn recent years increasing violence incidens in the field of health adversely affects health care workers’ physical and psychological health. Studies on the violence against health workers demonstrate the seriousness of the problem in Turkey. Every levels on health organizations and every level of health care workers are exposed to violence. Health violence on public opinion known as patients -coming to health facilities to medical care- and patients relatives commit physical violence toward to health care professionals. Also, non-physical forms of violence find out to be extremely widespread. Purpose of this study; in order to provide guideline for the safety of Akdeniz University hospital staff is determined to violence rate of hospital personnels which being exposed to patients enduse violence.
