Habib (d. 175/791) was one of the early hadith scholars of the Ibadiyya school. The work named al-Câmiu's-Sahîh, which is the oldest hadith book of the Ibadiyya madhhab, also belongs to him. In this work, he has included information on many subjects such as belief, worship, morality, manners, and sirah. Particularly in the third volume of the work, creed debates such as the attributes of God, the nature of faith, blasphemy, shirk, and the state of the person who committed major sins are included. Rabî 'b. Habib included many verses, hadiths and the views of the Companions in order to support his opinion in his discussions on religious issues with his opponents. Rabî b. The method followed by Habib on the relevant issues, on the one hand, reveals the effect of the scientific discussions and hadiths of the relevant period on the understanding and interpretation of the hadiths, on the other hand, sheds light on the effect of sect devotion on the interpretation of the verses. The aforementioned discussions are also in Rabi b. It is also important in terms of revealing the view of the Ibadiyya sect, which Habib is a part of, towards religious observances. In this context, this study, which will shed light on the degree of accuracy of the general opinion that "Hâricîs have generally understood the religious texts superficially and externally", is Ibadî muhaddis Rabî's b. It will shed light on Habib's approach to hadiths related to belief. In addition, in this study Rabî 'b.
