Sumario: | This article presents the recent methodologies such as the
communicative approach and the action perspective. At the same time, it shows
the importance of the Common European Framework for Languages and the
changes that establish according to the principles stipulated in it. Written like a
classification, this article shows us the objectives, the competences that we are
supposed to develop and also the critics that existed for each one of the two
methodologies that we discussed.
The meaning and the purpose of this work are also to highlight the role
that the literary text may play in a foreign language class. For both approaches
the literary text is present and it comes with aspects of culture and civilization.
