In this work, it is thought about what has happened with these topics in the contemporary Mexican cinematography. Are they still standing? If they are, how are they represented? How have they been changed in a globalized world, where the idea of "the one's own" has been changed? What does the Mexican film reveal about the Mexican national identity in these days?
