High throughput in situ metagenomic measurement of bacterial replication at ultra-low sequencing coverage
Bacterial growth rate can change under different environmental conditions and reveals important biological and ecological information. Here, the authors develop GRiD, a bioinformatics tool for high-throughput estimation of growth rate using low coverage metagenomic data.
