Believed the parent of „românism”, Urechia emphasizes the national feeling of Romanian people, that refers to the Romanian etnogenesis, Latin downward, Romanian territorial continuity and permanence. In this context, the writer and political man offers a special attention to bassarabian issues. The article reveals some aspects of Urechia’s approach to the bassarabean thematic, especially the culture and literrature life.
