Sumario:This study deals with comparison of 'Undergraduate Academic Success' levels of 'Fine Arts High School' and 'Other High School' graduates studying in music teacher undergraduate program and nature of some courses effective on such success levels with regards to type of high school. The study is conducted with “Causal Comparative Research" model of “Relational Research” methods with study group of 182 people. “Academic success of music teacher candidates studying in Music Education Degree Program is significant in favor of students coming from 'Other High Schools.' No significant difference has been found between average scores of 'FAHS' and 'Other High School' origin students in some 'Basic Music Major Courses' such as ‘Musical Hearing, Reading and Writing', 'Piano' and 'I
