Sumario:Mycobacterium ulcerans is the causative agent of Buruli ulcer (BU). Existing anti-tubercular drugs have been used to treat the condition with varying success. Here, the authors show that a clinical-stage drug candidate for tuberculosis, Q203, is effective at killing M. ulcerans and is a promising therapeutic candidate for BU.
