Sumario: | In recent decades the literature on rescue systems has recorded a very
large number of contributions that have used, while declining according
to different perspectives, the Queue Theory to prepare procedures
and models to understand their behavior, measure and optimize performance
in terms of efficiency of the service rendered in the territory
by these particular systemic structures so important from a social point
of view.
These are very complex structures because of the predictable and
unpredictable factors of variability that intervene both in terms of the
number of requests and the time necessary to satisfy them.
