Sumario:The existing urban agglomerations require solving the issue of management of the development of urban agglomerations as a special form of territorial management of such urban formations, based on the need for coordinated development of all municipalities within the framework of the unity of the urban agglomeration. At the same time, at the level of Federal legislation, there are no Federal laws, nor any normative legal acts designed to streamline the processes of coordinated development of municipalities included in the urban agglomeration. From this point of view, the organizational forms of management of the urban agglomeration found in domestic practice are considered, and it is proposed to reflect them in the current legislation. It is proved that the search for various solutions is aimed at improving the integrity of the urban agglomeration and approaches to it as a single object of management.
