The research was conducted in Yogyakarta City by determining a sample of 45 farmer group members using multistage random sampling. Descriptive analysis was applied to describe the motivation of farmer group members in using urban yards during the Covid-19 pandemic. Analysis of the Spearman Rank Correlation Coefficient was implemented to analyze their motivation factors. This study unveiled that the motivation of farmer group members in utilizing urban yards seen from the motivation of existence, relatedness, and growth belonged to the high category.
