Résumé:The main purpose of this study is to assess the effect of the demographic variables of master trainers and teachers from informal education institutions participating in the “Teacher Leadership” training program on leadership skills. In the study, the “Teacher Leadership” training program consisting of 24 activities was applied to the participants in the experimental group by the researcher four days a week for 6 weeks. In the study, Teacher Leadership Scale and interview form were used as data collection tools. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with the participants synchronously with retention tests. The data of the study were analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 packaged software. In order to compare the demographic variables, Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis Test were performed. When examining the effect of demographic variables of the teachers who used the “Teacher Leadership” training program, prepared for the purpose of increasing the teacher leadership skill levels of the participants, on their teacher leadership skill levels; it was observed that there was a significant difference between the teacher leadership and necessity level of teachers respectively from the branches of art and occupation compared to general branch teachers. Thus, it can be thought that it can be useful to apply the teacher leadership training programs for the purpose of increasing the leadership skills of especially general branch teachers.
