Its relevance is due, on the one hand, to the trend of active development of self-organization aimed at meeting the growing demands of modern adults for a diverse content and forms of education, on the other hand - to public need to build a system of continuing education in general and modernization of adult education in particular, realized by the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Interaction is considered not as an end in itself, but as a means of harmonizing relations between the individual, society and the state by means of education. The author offers methodological bases, ensuring both the maintenance of systemically important cultural values and wide development of knowledge and skills relevant to modern life. The article describes the negative factors that create obstacles for each adult to build an individual educational path. The way of overcoming the cross-cutting insulation in the field of adult education on the basis of existing political and legal context is justified. The scientific novelty of the proposed variant consists in the combination of the achievements of the modern education economy (in the field of intersectoral interaction, public-private partnership) and the author’s development of the construct “adult education space” describing the current state of this sphere.M.
