| Résumé: | This article proposes, within the theoretical frame of environmental justice in a postcolonial context, to discuss of the strategies implemented by a culturally majority population to fight against environmental degradation. The results presented in this article come from several surveys conducted since 2011 on shark risk. First, our results raise the question of distributive justice for access to environmental amenities: in the name of what principles to help or not a population, considered as privileged, to maintain access to environmental amenity, access that does not would not deprive - on paper - another population of its rights? On the other hand, our results raise the question of ethics developed by environmental justice: must it necessarily be pro-environmentalist? |
