| Sumario: | Violence and terror, which have been on the rise in recent years, concern all of us. Islam has ordered in an open and perfect from about all rights and duties of mankind. To attack the sacred things which are a part of spiritual existence is prohibited and forbidden in Islam. As we have witnessed in recent years, religion has been hijacked into a cycle of violence, despite the fact that Islam condemn violence and promote peace. One of the widely known principles of Islam is expressed as follows in the Qur'an. al-Maida: 5/32: “If someone kills a human being -unless as a penalty for murder, or unless it is to prevent the spread of corruption in the world- it is as if he has killed the entire humanity. And if someone saves a life, it is as if he has saved the entire humanity…” This verse clearly indicates the value of human life. Prophet Muhammad says: “A Muslim is he from whose tongue and hands other muslims are safe.”Islam religion is concerned the main messages revolve around the dignity of human beings, social justice and the moral community. In the establishment of these practices there is no room for violence and terror. Today, Muslims are faced by two arduous tasks: Muslims have to combat the extremists among themselves and correct the negative image of muslim that has been fed intentionally and malignantly to various circles. |
