This is a descriptive study since it aims to display existing situation. The study’s datas were gathered through a form which included phrase like “the technology is similar……, because…..”. The data has been collected, analysed and commented by using quantitative and qalitative research methods. Sample of the study consists of 187 science teacher candidates who were studying 1, 2, 3 an 4 garde in Fırat University, at the Department of Science Teacher during 2015-2016 academic years .Regarding the participant, teacher candidates produced 115 different metaphors about tecnology concept. According to these metaphors, “tecnology” perceptions of the teacher candidates were grouped under different categories.Tehe metaphors were developed that most were respectively ‘‘constantly changing-evolving process’’, ‘‘both beneficial and damaging’’, ‘‘beneficial’’ and ‘‘neccesity’’ regarding the concept of tecnology by prospective teachers. Furthermore, the metaphors which were regarding the concept of tecnology concentrated at the “harmful”category. In order to determine whether the metaphors developed by student teachers’ differ according to various variables, suitable statistical methods were used to analyse. Results of the categories were interpreted.
