Sumario:The hot air ageing resistance of natural rubber vulcanizates was investigated with differential scanning calorimetry. The apparent activation energy, reaction rate constant(KT) and oxidative induction time(ti) for oxidation reaction were obtained by calculation, and compared with the test results of hot air aging chamber. The results showed that KT and ti could characterize the thermal oxygen aging resistance of natural rubber vulcanizate, and the results were consistent with that of hot air aging chamber test. The natural rubber vulcanizate containing the mixture of aniline antioxidant and p-phenylenediamine antioxidant had better thermal oxygen aging resistance.
