Sumario:This text analyse how the human development the his broached in the Administrative Theories (Scientific Administration, School of Human Relationships, Motivation and leadership Theories, Structuralist Theory and System Theory). The theories studied promote the human being development very little due to the fact that the worry and the politics were usually concerning the organizational effectiveness, relegating the social aspect to the economical one. The participative administration, the knowledge administration, the development of the emancipatory logic, the theory of the communicative action, among others, represent alternatives to conciliate the organizational and individual interests in the perspective of the development. However, these alternatives implicate in the change of paradigms, in a critical view of the reality which goes beyond the functionalist rationality still predominant in the organizational environment.
