Sumario:17th century’s poet Güftî has a tezkire, Teşrifâtü’ş-Şu’ara, which is one of a kind written in verse in Turkish Literature. The tezkire has been written in a form of masnavi. Tezkire has involved 106 poet’s poetry, including Güftî himself. The tezkire, which humorous wording has influenced over in, has been told about some informations about poets, such as their physical properties, jobs, hometowns, characteristic properties, beliefs etc. In these information sentences, Güftî has used harmless, humorous language half of them. And the other half, he has written in cruel wording. Güftî has equated his favourite poets to Persian Literature’s great poets, for example Urfî, Enverî. He has compared his dislikes to poets, who has written historical- epic stories such as Battal Gazi, Hamza-nâme, Geyik-nâme, Timur-nâme, Kelîle ve Dimne. Poets, whose poems has been appreciated, has been praised a lot. But poems, whose poems has been disliked, has been satirized with a mocking wording. Also Gütfî, has ascertained thief poets, who has stolen other’s poets. He hasn’t tolerated them and criticised with a cruel words. In our study, Güftî’s analysis about poets and their poems will be examined in topics, such as “images”, “metaphors”, “epigrams”, “puns” (wordplays), “meanings” and “spellings”. Criticises in Teşrifâtü’ş-Şu’arâ to poets literary identities, will be examined in features like “originalitiy” and “comparing to other poets”. Also Güftî’s review wording, which has been shaped by metaphors and figures will be examined. In this way, it will be ascertained Güftî’s opinions about poems, poets, his age’s literature, literature pleasures as a tezkire writer.
