Sumario: | In the early decades of the 20th century, there were different understandings on the physical and moral crisis that affected the country. The advocates of physical exercise spent considerable amount of time and effort to diagnose and understand the causes of different conditions that affected the population, based on different concerns; such as fatigue, mental overload, and sedentary lifestyle. As a result, physical therapeutic exercise was understood as a suitable tool to help the individuals, restore the hygiene of the people, increase the energy and resistance conversion rate, for restoring weakened nerves affected by urban lifestyle. |
