Sumario:In this work it´s argued that the Dempster-Shafer Theory of Evidence permits a statistical foundation of the Analysis-Diagnosis of Agrarian Systems. From a discussion of the difficulties to make statistical inferences about behavior of complex systems, it´s made a presentation of the Analysis-Diagnosis of Agrarian Systems, followed by a discussion of the Dempster- Shafer Theory of Evidence as statistical foundation of the Analysis-Diagnosis of Agrarian Systems. It is concluded that the Analysis-diagnosis of Agrarian Systems is compatible with Dempster-Shafer Theory of Evidence and, so, with a rigorous statistical analysis, especially when it takes in account the complexity of the agricultural development.
