A choice motivated by tradition and its beliefs that for us dismiss the complexity of selection between the local and exogenous offer of the western medicine in ethnic contexts.To the extent that the constant risks of the Wounan person are illness and misfortune, as health is strictly his epiphenomenon, the therapeutic offer must be shown as a permanent resource that can only be emulated as a domestic and intimate service, deeply opposed to the intermittent provision of public health services in the region.Sandra HerránCentre de Recherches sur les Mondes AméricainsarticleindigenouspacificanthropologybiopoliticstherapeuticsAnthropologyGN1-890Latin America.
