Since the beginning of this decade, an alternative access has been developed, in relation to miniaturization of the required elements to perform coronary diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. This new radial artery access is supported by multiple reports from many centers around the world that are increasingly using the technique. With this access it is possible to perform all the regular procedures done regularly through the femoral route.
