She was subjected to a subtotal thyroidectomy and the pathological study of the surgical piece showed a Hodgkin lymphoma, subtype nodular sclerosis. The patient was treated with three cycles of chemotherapy, using cyclophosphamide, vincristine, procarbazine, prednisone, doxorubicin, bleomycin, vinblastin and radiotherapy.
