Sumario: | Background: Retroperitoneal schwannoma is an uncommon and usually benign condition. We report a 51-year-old woman presenting with a palpable pelvic tumor. The patient was operated on and during the intervention, two retroperitoneal tumors were found and resected. The postoperative course was favorable. Pathology confirmed the diagnosis of retroperitoneal benign shwannomas. After eight years of follow up, there is no evidence of malignant transformation. |
