Fourty-six of the 119 dogs whelped at least once and 22 of 59 dogs had a history of false pregnancy. Two per cent of the animals also had tumours of vulvar and vaginal origine. Two-hundred and twelve tumours were surgically removed and out of the 212 tumours, 78.3% were malignant, 12.3% were benign, 8.0% were hyperplastic changes and 1.4% were unclassified tumours.
