Ribosomal Intergenic Spacer Analysis (RISA) followed by sequence analysis identified Paenibacillus sp., Enterobacteriaceae and Pseudomonas aeruginosa as common contaminants. The present study aimed to identify a representative sample of contaminants encountered when culturing clinical faecal samples from Chilean cattle.
